According to the War Media of the resistance in Gaza, fighters ambushed Israeli occupation forces in the az-Zanna neighborhood, east of Khan Younis, targeting Israeli tanks and killing 6 Israeli soldiers. The ambush also targeted Israeli special units that rushed to rescue the initial unit, leading to their fall victim to a previously booby-trapped road set by the resistance.
The resistance also announced another ambush in which they killed 5 Israeli occupation soldiers at “point-blank range” and targeted an armored vehicle in the Al-Amal neighborhood in Gaza. It is important to mention that az-Zanna area, where Israeli occupation forces were ambushed, witnessed complete annihilation at the beginning of the Israeli invasion of Khan Yunis over three months ago.
